xByte Technologies is excited to announce that we have been named a Florida Companies to Watch award recipient, presented by GrowFL. Only 50 out of over 600 nominees receive this prestigious annual award. The Florida Companies to Watch award recognizes growing second-stage (beyond a start-up, not quite an enterprise) companies that demonstrate high performance in the marketplace with innovative strategies and processes. To be eligible for this notable award, a company must be headquartered in the state of Florida, employ between 6 to 99 full-time employees, and have between $750,000 and $50 million in annual revenue or working capital in place. Honorees are not only selected based on their eligibility, but must demonstrate intent and capacity for growth, exceptional entrepreneurial leadership, competitive advantage, outstanding corporate culture, and inspired community giving. Recognized companies are 5% of Florida’s businesses, but account for nearly 30% of the jobs.

As a company that was started in a living room in Gainesville, Florida, it’s amazing to look back and see how far the company has come. President and CEO, Tom Santilli commented saying, “Many people think of Florida as a great place to vacation or retire, but the Florida Companies to Watch award illustrates that it’s also an amazing place to live and full of entrepreneurial spirit and opportunities. I grew up in Florida and am honored xByte Technologies is being recognized for having a positive impact on the Florida economy. xByte Technologies has grown exponentially over the past few years, and we look forward to continued growth, bringing even more jobs to the state.” Chief Operating Officer, Stephen Jaynes states, “Being recognized as one of Florida Companies to Watch is an accomplishment every person at xByte Technologies can be proud of. Every employee works hard every day and contributes to the success of the company, and reaching this milestone has been a group effort by all.”
